Dr Kang Wee has been practicing as an Obstetrician & Gynaecologist for more than 20 years. Before she left to start her private practice in August 2011, she was a Senior Consultant in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology (O&G) at KK Women’s & Children’s Hospital (KKH). She was also an Adjunct Associate Professor in Duke-NUS Graduate Medical School and a Clinical Senior Lecturer in Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore (NUS). She was the examiner for the MBBS O&G Examinations held at NUS YLL School of Medicine d a mentor to the O&G specialists and junior trainees in KKH.

Dr Kang Wee is specialised in treating many different Obstetrics & Gynaecology problems.

For her outstanding service and dedication to patients, Dr Kang Wee was conferred the coveted Excellent Service Award (or EXSA) Silver, Gold and Star awards in the years 2004, 2005 and 2007 respectively. The EXSA is a national award managed by SPRING Singapore (a government agency) that recognizes individuals who have consistently delivered outstanding, dedicated and caring service to the public, and who can serve as “champion” role models for their peers. She was also the consistent recipient of the “Service from the Heart Award” from KKH from 2004 till 2010 for exemplary patient-oriented care and service.

Dr Kang Wee has authored numerous medical papers and has been a keynote speaker and subject matter expert in many local and overseas medical conferences and workshops.
